Liberation Day: The Vault+ Liberated

The Vault+ will cease operations completely on October 5th, 5PM BST.* At that same moment, the entire library will be liberated and released to the public, free of charge.

Everything. Thousands of files of hypnosis audio, PMVs and related content, amounting to 1.5 TB, all of it made by one man, in one room, over six years.

It is being released in its full format, exactly as it was made, as the largest free hypno kink library in the world. This is not a sample, a selection or a best-of.

No man can spend all his life on a set; sometimes he hits a wall.

For 6 years The Vault+ was Sir Dominic Scott©'s daily driver: 10-12+ hours, every day, built and run by one person. He gave it everything he had, and he is proud of what it became. But there is only so much one human can give, and he has reached that point. Full details of the closure are available on the goodbye page.

The Vault+ is closing, and the work should not disappear with it. That leaves two options: the library is given to nobody and is lost when the servers go cold, or copies are issued.

Once a copy has been issued, it is no longer within Sir Dominic Scott©'s control, or within any member's. No technical measure prevents a file that a person is permitted to keep from being copied, and no member can vouch for every other person who holds one. It takes only one upload, by one person, on one occasion, for the entire library to be available everywhere, permanently. It cannot be recalled.

A members-only release is therefore not an option that exists. It would be a public release with a delay, carried out by whoever leaks it first. The library will become public regardless, and the only matter left to decide is whose copy the public receives.

A leaked copy is an inferior copy, with files missing, renamed or reduced in quality, and with no means of knowing who has handled it or what has been altered. Where hypnosis is concerned, the listener should know exactly what they are listening to.

For that reason, Sir Dominic Scott© has taken the decision to release it himself: every file, in its full format, exactly as it was made. Not some dodgy copy from Dave on The Pirate Bay.

Existing members lose nothing by this. Membership was always for the duration of the project, and members will receive early access and a complete copy of their own.

Because it is also a protest. Payment processors have set themselves against hypnosis content. Work that is legal, consensual and made by adults for adults is treated as something that must not be paid for, and the general dismay towards the kink continues.

A library that costs nothing cannot be switched off by a payment processor. By releasing all of it for free, Sir Dominic Scott© is placing six years of hypno kink beyond the reach of anyone who would rather it did not exist.

It also ensures that nobody profits from it. The library is licensed so that no one may ever charge for it, which leaves nothing for a reseller to sell. Sir Dominic Scott© would rather give the work to the public than see it make money for someone who did not make it.

On October 5th, 5PM BST, a channel will appear on The Cult of Sir that allows you to immediately open the site and begin downloading. It will not be available to the public before that time.

Anyone aged 18 or over is welcome to join and verify in advance, so that they are ready on the day.

The site will remain online until January 5th, 2027, after which it will only host the torrent.

On the day, everything is downloaded from the site itself, in one of two ways.

Lifetime Members of The Vault+ will be able to download directly from the site, one release at a time. These are an optimised version of every file, prepared at a much smaller size without any loss in quality. Lifetime Members will also be given access to the private torrent.

Those who were not members will be given access to the private torrent, which downloads the entire library in one go onto a hard drive, a cloud drive or wherever they choose to keep it. A torrent can be paused and resumed, and it checks every file as it arrives.

The full library is 1.5 TB, so that much free space is required. A guide to both methods is provided on the site.

Lifetime Members of The Vault+ will be able to download their own copy of everything in the library, directly from the site, as an optimised version of every file at a much smaller size without any loss in quality. They will also be given access to the private torrent.

Existing members will also receive early access, ahead of the public release. The details will be announced closer to the date.

The library is released under The Vault+ Liberated Terms of Use and Licence Agreement, which is a non-commercial licence. It grants permission to use the work. It does not transfer ownership of it.

The licence permits:

• Downloading the materials, keeping local copies and making backup copies.
• Organising, cataloguing and converting the files between formats.
• Modifying the materials for personal, private and non-commercial purposes.
• Sharing or uploading the materials, including modified versions, provided that no payment is required to access them and that the copyright, attribution and licence notices are retained.

The licence does not permit, without separate written permission:

• Commercial use of any kind, whether direct or indirect. This includes selling the materials or modified versions, selling access to them, and placing them behind a paywall, subscription, paid membership or tip requirement.
• Incorporating them into paid or monetised adult content, including OnlyFans, JustForFans and similar fan subscription platforms, pay-per-view, paid custom recordings and commissions, even where the material itself was obtained for free.
• Earning advertising or platform revenue from them, or using them in sponsored content or to promote a commercial service.
• Commercially rerecording, adapting or recreating the scripts, soundscapes, trigger sounds or binaural works. A new recording that is substantially based on the original remains covered.
• Training or fine-tuning a commercial AI model on them.
• Re-licensing them on broader terms, or describing a payment as a donation, tip or hosting fee in order to charge for access.
• Claiming authorship, removing rights notices or metadata, or using The Vault+ name and branding to suggest an official release, affiliation or endorsement.
• Using the hypnotic material on another person without their consent.

Copyright in the work, including Sir's Binaural Soundscapes© and all associated names and marks, remains with Sir Dominic Scott©. Downloading, modifying or uploading a file does not transfer ownership. This is a summary only. The full licence governs, is available on the site, and is included with every download.
